The Hebron Project Provides Bursary to the Glenn Roy Blundon Centre

The Hebron Project and Memorial University's Glenn Roy Blundon Centre for Students with Disabilities announced the The Hebron Project Psychological - Educational Assessment Bursary. This bursary will provide assistance to students who are otherwise unable to access services offered at the centre. In particular, it will offer reimbursements for Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder assessments; for partial psychological-education assessments; reimbursement for a portion of assessments not covered by student aid, and if necessary, full assessments.

Women to explore trades and technology careers in 13-week orientation program.

The Hebron and Hibernia projects will provide a total of $200,000 to create two scholarship funds for young women interested in exploring trades and technology occupations in the natural resources sector. The funds will help support women aged 17 to 22 enrolling in the Techsploration Orientation to Trades and Technology Program (TOTT) delivered by College of the North Atlantic and administered by the Women in Resource Development Corporation (WRDC).

The Hebron Project is contributing more than $400,000 to support a Coastal Connections pioneering ocean education program for students in the K-12 school system. The Hebron Project Coastal Explorers Field Program for Schools will operate from Terra Nova National Park and the Marine Institute's Holyrood Marine Base.
